The space

Step into a contemporary 2-bedroom beach villa built for six, where concrete, warm wood, and natural stone come together in clean, modern lines. The open-concept living and dining area is bright and airy, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that dissolve the line between indoors and your private terrace. The fully equipped kitchen — marble-style backsplash, full-size oven and stove, dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, and wine glasses — handles everything from a quiet breakfast to a full family dinner. There's also a dedicated workspace if you need to check in with the outside world. The first bedroom offers a restful queen bed; the second, family-friendly room pairs a queen with custom bunk beds, so kids and extra guests are covered. Two and a half sleek bathrooms feature modern walk-in showers, hot water, and quality toiletries.

The neighbourhood

Casa Praia sits one minute from downtown Jacó, and that is the whole point: you are inside a quiet, secure gated community, but the town is a short walk away.

The community itself is part of the stay: a private beach club with tropical gardens, a restaurant, and direct beach access, steps from the ocean, plus a community gym.

Downtown Jacó is a vibrant beach town — restaurants, surf shops, and nightlife, busy by day and by night. Some of the best surf breaks on the Central Pacific are minutes from the door.

Beyond the town, Manuel Antonio National Park is about 40 minutes away, and the nature parks and beaches of the Central Pacific coast are easy day trips.

Getting here: most guests fly into San José (SJO), roughly 90 minutes away by transfer. Arriving by car is simple — there is free parking on the premises, free street parking, and an EV charger on site.

Welcome The Town at Praia! We want every guest to enjoy a safe and relaxing stay, so please take a moment to review these important rules before your arrival.

1. Registered Guests Only
Only the guests listed in your reservation are allowed on the property.
Unauthorized visitors or extra guests are not permitted under any circumstance.
Our security team has full authorization to deny or block entrance to anyone not included in the booking.

If you wish to invite someone, please request approval from the Host in advance. Unapproved guests or gatherings will result in immediate cancellation of the stay.

2. Quiet Hours
Please respect quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This helps keep a peaceful environment for everyone.

3. Pool and BBQ Area
Use is exclusively for registered guests. Please supervise children at all times.

4. Respect the Space
No parties, no loud music, and no smoking inside the house.
Please rinse off sand before entering the home or pool.

5. Security
Praia is a private gated community with 24/7 security. Always close the main gate after entering or leaving.

6. Care for the Home
Please treat the house as if it were your own. Report any damage immediately to the Host.

The property is located inside Casa Praia’s secure gated community, where guests can also enjoy the private beach club surrounded by tropical gardens and direct beach access.

Un lugar muy bonito, desde que uno llega se siente mucha paz, la limpieza y el orden que tenía el lugar eran increíbles, realmente todo muy bonito y casi no fue necesario el tener que salir del lugar, la piscina privada muy rica y limpia, los utensilios para cocinar también en perfecto estado y mucha variedad, realmente iríamos otra vez sin pensarlo, también la comunicación del host fue muy buena, respondía muy rápido y con muy buena atención.

Super classy place, great hosts, perfect location - just minutes from everything. Clean to the point that I felt like we were the first people to ever stay here! There was some construction in the front and some street noise in the back. It didn't bother us at all though, but maybe a consideration for those who are sensitive. The gated community itself is very quiet. This vacation was booked at the very last-minute but all four of us loved it and we all agreed we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Fantastic city with lovely people, and a lot to do. We'll be back!
